What you will do

• Translate project requirements into computer models, layouts, and detailed engineering drawings.
• Collaborate with Design and Manufacturing Engineering to ensure cost-effective and functional product design.
• Create and verify detailed drawings and Bills of Material (BOM) for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure design integrity using proportionality, sizing, dimensional accuracy, and GD&T practices.
• Specify materials and processing procedures to meet design requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• 0-3 years of experience in engineering and design principles.
• Proficiency in mechanical CAD (MCAD) tools.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Buffalo, NY.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Experience with Siemens NX and Teamcenter PLM.
• Familiarity with analytical tools like Matlab/Simulink and ANSYS.
