What you will do

• Partner with customers to design scalable data architectures using the Databricks platform.
• Develop account strategies in collaboration with Sales to grow platform usage.
• Build and present reference architectures and demo applications to prospects.
• Consult on big data architectures, data engineering pipelines, and ML projects to secure technical wins.
• Promote open-source projects like Spark, Delta Lake, and MLflow within developer communities through meetups and conferences.

Requirements

• 4+ years in customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, or consulting.
• Expertise in big data engineering (Spark, Hadoop, Kafka), Data Warehousing (SQL, ETL), or ML (pandas, scikit-learn).
• Proficiency in SQL and database technology.
• Development experience in at least one of: Python, Scala, Java, or R.
• Must be based in Sao Paulo, Brazil and available for regional travel up to 30% of the time.

Nice to have

• Experience building solutions with public cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Degree in a quantitative discipline (Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research).
