What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Databricks and Azure services.
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows for data ingestion, transformation, and delivery.
• Develop and optimize Apache Spark and PySpark jobs for large-scale data processing.
• Design data solutions supporting analytics, reporting, and operational business needs.
• Collaborate with clients, business stakeholders, and cross-functional engineering teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Ensure data quality, reliability, performance, documentation, and operational support across data platforms.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Databricks, Microsoft Azure, and Azure-based data services.
• Experience developing and optimizing Apache Spark and PySpark applications.
• Strong experience designing ETL/ELT solutions and distributed data processing systems.
• Understanding of data architecture, data modeling, scalable platform design, and SQL.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and Agile delivery skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Delta Lake and Lakehouse architectures.
• Familiarity with data governance, monitoring, and data quality practices.
• Microsoft Azure or Databricks certifications.
