What you will do

• Design and implement scalable data engineering solutions using the Microsoft Analytics ecosystem.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes for structured and unstructured data.
• Create dimensional data models for analytics and reporting.
• Build data transformation and integration processes with Python, SQL, and dbt.
• Optimize data storage and retrieval for high-performance analytics workloads.
• Configure hybrid analytics workloads in Azure, monitor pipeline reliability, and integrate data assets with Power BI and other reporting platforms.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Expertise with the Microsoft Analytics stack, including Fabric, Synapse, SQL, SSAS, and SSRS.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, data modeling, dimensional modeling, and ETL practices.
• Experience with data extraction patterns and ETL tools or frameworks such as dbt.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Experience working in client-facing roles.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure infrastructure, hybrid analytics workloads, networking, and security configurations.
• Azure engineering certifications, including Azure Data Engineer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub for repositories and deployments.
• Familiarity with machine learning workflows, Tableau or Qlik, and Agile methodologies.
