What you will do

• Lead and execute end-to-end financial and non-financial risk-based audits.
• Evaluate the design and operational effectiveness of internal controls, specifically targeting SIAR, SARLAFT, and SAC.
• Conduct rigorous follow-ups and independent testing on audit findings raised by the Superintendencia Financiera de Colombia and other bodies.
• Test Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and Disaster Recovery Protocols (DRP) across core operations.
• Develop comprehensive audit programs and draft technical reports for the Audit Committee.

Requirements

• 6–8 years of experience in Internal Audit, Risk Management, or Regulatory Compliance within the Colombian Financial Sector.
• Expert-level knowledge of SFC regulations (SIAR, SAC, SARLAFT) and IFRS/SFC accounting standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or Industrial Engineering.
• Must be based in Colombia for office work.
• English proficiency level B2/C1 required for corporate and regional reporting.

Nice to have

• Postgraduate Specialization or Master's Degree in Risk Management or Financial Regulation.
• Experience with agile project management tools such as Jira or Airtable.
