What you will do

• Review and evaluate denied claims using proprietary software and tools to determine correct reimbursement.
• Research and acquire medical records and supporting documentation required for claim submission.
• Conduct thorough follow-up with payers via telephone to facilitate prompt reimbursement.
• Analyze client and payer contracts to identify complex underpayments.
• Maintain extreme privacy and security regarding patient health information.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• 5+ years of experience in healthcare billing or collections.
• 1+ years of client-facing or customer service experience.
• Intermediate understanding of insurance payer/provider claims processing and revenue cycle management.
• Proficiency in medical terminology and coding (ICD, HCPCS/CPT).
• Strong computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
