Location: Home-based with required travel to the Bristol head office for meetings.

What you will do

• Represent the interests of workplace pension and drawdown investment pathway members at committee meetings.
• Challenge senior management decisions to ensure value for money for scheme members.
• Attend approximately six full meetings and eight short meetings annually.
• Assist in producing the IGC annual report and value for money assessments.
• Escalate identified concerns to the HLAM Board and the FCA when necessary.
• Maintain high standards of professional integrity and provide expert counsel to the business.

Requirements

• Must have the right to work in the UK as no sponsorship is provided.
• Expert knowledge of workplace pensions, investment, drawdown, and the pre/at-retirement marketplace.
• In-depth understanding of FCA regulations related to workplace pensions and IGC responsibilities.
• Proven experience as a member of a Board, Committee, or similar governance role.
• Strong data analysis skills and high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, listening, and questioning skills.
