Senior Detection & Response Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Kraków, Poland; hybrid work with onsite attendance at the Kraków office three days per week.

What you will do

• Develop, tune, and maintain detections, correlation rules, analytics, searches, and threat detection content across SIEM, EDR, identity, email, SaaS, and security monitoring platforms.
• Identify detection gaps, create new use cases, improve coverage, reduce false positives, and increase alert fidelity.
• Design and maintain security automation workflows using Tines, SOAR platforms, APIs, and platform-native capabilities.
• Automate repetitive investigation and response activities and improve operational workflows.
• Support security investigations and incident response while collaborating with Security Operations, Security Engineering, IT, Product Security, MSSP partners, and incident responders.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and contribute to measurable improvements in the Security Operations program.

Requirements

• Experience improving threat detection, security operations, incident response, or related cybersecurity capabilities in a production environment.
• Hands-on experience in detection engineering and creating, tuning, and maintaining detections, searches, analytics, or threat-hunting content using security-focused query languages.
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining security automation workflows with Tines, SOAR platforms, or similar technologies.
• Experience integrating systems through APIs, automation platforms, or platform-native capabilities.
• Strong understanding of threat detection, security investigations, and incident response in a Tier 3 Security Operations environment.
• Must be authorized to work in Poland on a full-time basis without current or future visa sponsorship.
