Security Analyst Trainee - Security Operations Center L1 (Cybersecurity)

Location: Katowice, Poland (Zabrska 19)

Full-time position with shift work in a 24/7 Security Operations Center.

What you will do

• Analyze security events using scenario-based investigation methods.
• Detect anomalies across infrastructure, application, and network layers.
• Correlate logs and investigate activity across multiple platforms.
• Communicate security findings with various teams and stakeholders.
• Maintain and develop security products and services.
• Contribute to improving the quality and effectiveness of SOC operations.

Requirements

• Analytical thinking and strong attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of at least two areas: networks, Unix/Linux or Windows operating systems, databases, and web technologies.
• Knowledge of computer networks and IT security, including OWASP Top 10 and MITRE.
• Experience with SIEM, EDR/XDR, Elasticsearch, public cloud, and log analysis.
• English at B2 level or higher for daily communication.
• Ability to work in a team and in a dynamically changing environment.

• Previous SOC or IT work experience.
• Programming or data management skills.
• Technical or security certification.
• Higher education or ongoing IT studies.
• Independent decision-making and the ability to work under time pressure.
