Senior Software Engineer (SRE)

Location: Hybrid or remote in Poland; Kraków

Salary: PLN 208,000–312,000 per year, plus annual performance bonus and long-term incentives.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain software that improves system reliability, observability, and scalability.
• Develop automation and tooling for reliability, capacity planning, and incident response.
• Define and improve Service Level Objectives, Service Level Indicators, and error budgets.
• Extend CI/CD pipelines and improve DevOps practices through software engineering.
• Support root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes through code and automation.
• Participate in on-call rotations and collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, and product partners to embed SRE principles.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering roles.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Go, Java, or C#/.NET.
• Experience building and maintaining scalable distributed systems using service-oriented or cloud-native architectures.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and DevOps practices.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, including Kubernetes on AKS or related services.
• Understanding of system resilience, redundancy, disaster recovery, and strong collaboration across technical and non-technical teams.

Nice to have

• Experience in reliability engineering, cloud infrastructure, or SRE environments.
• Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry.
• Experience with high-availability global SaaS environments.
• Experience with Chaos Engineering or AIOps.
