Senior Site Reliability Engineer (Kubernetes)

Location: Remote, Warsaw

Salary: 26,000–34,000 PLN gross/month

What you will do

• Own and evolve Webshare’s production infrastructure across hundreds of servers and approximately 50 services.
• Lead the migration from Docker Swarm to Kubernetes or a hybrid Kubernetes and Ansible environment.
• Maintain high availability and drive observability in collaboration with backend developers.
• Establish Infrastructure as Code practices, reliable CI/CD pipelines, and change management processes.
• Participate in the production on-call rotation, lead incident resolution, conduct post-mortems, and implement systematic remediation.
• Build platform tooling that improves developer experience and reduces infrastructure toil.

Requirements

• Experience building and operating highly available production infrastructure at comparable scale.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in self-hosted or bare-metal environments.
• Strong Infrastructure as Code skills and end-to-end ownership of CI/CD pipelines, such as GitLab CI.
• Production on-call and incident response experience.
• Scripting and development skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and communicating infrastructure problems.

Nice to have

• Experience leading a major infrastructure migration from planning through stabilization.
• Familiarity with Python and/or Go.
• Experience with proxy, networking-heavy, edge cluster, or split compute/edge infrastructure.
• Experience in teams where developers share infrastructure responsibility.
