Senior Software Engineer (Data Platform)

What you will do

• Drive the design, implementation, and reliability of foundational data platforms and systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver new platform features.
• Identify and drive improvements to current programming practices and tool upgrades.
• Provide technical guidance and present complex information to teams and stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-time engineering experience specializing in backend systems.
• Expertise in building large-scale data storage, streaming, and warehousing systems.
• Experience with MongoDB, Postgres, Kinesis, Flink, Spark, ElasticSearch, and Redis.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes and various public cloud offerings.
• Proven track record of mentoring and leading teams in successful projects.
• Must be eligible to work under US labor laws.

Nice to have

• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tooling, specifically CircleCI.
• Experience scaling products within hyper-growth startups.
