Location: Hybrid in Helsinki, Finland (office attendance required 3 days a week)

What you will do

• Build large-scale data storage and processing systems processing billions of records daily.
• Contribute to system architecture and engineering excellence through team collaboration.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and business stakeholders across the organization.
• Define and monitor SLAs and implement SRE best practices for system stability and availability.
• Develop APIs for internal and external consumers of the data.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of industry experience.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Scala, and/or Java.
• Experience with data processing frameworks such as Spark, Flink, Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or ClickHouse.
• Familiarity with streaming systems like Kafka or Kinesis.
• Proficiency with SQL and RDBMS (e.g., PostgreSQL, Citus).
• Ability to work in a hybrid capacity from the Helsinki office 3 days a week.

Nice to have

• Experience with Ruby on Rails.
