What you will do

• Ensure the security of on-premises and cloud-based networks, systems, and services.
• Design and implement network security controls, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
• Perform security assessments, configuration verification, and control effectiveness reporting.
• Lead incident response activities for security-related events.
• Collaborate with IT, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to integrate security into new and existing systems.
• Develop security roadmaps, standards, and technical documentation.

Requirements

• Must be able to work on-site in Alameda, CA
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 10+ years of experience.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience in offensive and defensive security engineering in a large enterprise.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and IaC.
• 5+ years of network security experience with technologies like Palo Alto Firewalls, Cisco ISE, SIEM, and SOAR.
• Proficiency in network topologies, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), and tunneling technologies.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering with an emphasis in Computer Security.
