Director of Product, Claims (Healthcare)

Location: Hybrid: Based in New York City (3 days in-office, Thursdays required)

Salary: $218,592 - $286,902 per year

What you will do

• Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Claims to improve payment speed, accuracy, and clarity for members and providers.
• Collaborate with operations, finance, legal, and external partners to align on priorities and drive positive change.
• Recruit, hire, and develop a high-performing healthcare product team.
• Work closely with Engineering, Data Science, and Design to deliver the product vision.
• Refine cross-functional processes and make organizational staffing decisions.
• Ensure strict compliance with all applicable healthcare laws and regulations.

Requirements

• 10+ years of product experience.
• 5+ years of people management experience.
• 3+ years of experience in healthcare payer or provider technology.
• Must be based in New York City for a hybrid work schedule (3 days in-office).

Nice to have

• Subject matter expertise in healthcare billing and claims.
• Experience in coaching talent and building processes to elevate product team performance.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills using data to test theories and evaluate success.
