What you will do

• Architect and maintain automated data quality frameworks, including rules engines and anomaly detection.
• Design and implement automated test strategies for complex healthcare data ingestion and transformation pipelines.
• Conduct root cause analysis for high-impact data defects and drive systemic process improvements.
• Partner with Engineering and Product leadership to translate compliance requirements into technical test plans.
• Maintain QA automation frameworks and dashboards using SQL, Python, Java, and cloud-native tools.
• Mentor junior and mid-level QA engineers and evolve overall data quality standards.

Requirements

• 6–8+ years of experience in Data Quality and Data Engineering, specifically within healthcare technology.
• Expert-level SQL skills for complex data manipulation and profiling at scale.
• Hands-on automation scripting expertise in Python or Java.
• Experience with AWS (S3, EC2, Athena) and Databricks in production environments.
• Deep knowledge of healthcare data types such as claims, enrollment, and provider data.
• Must be based in the US.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Delta Lake, Spark, Airflow, or dbt.
• Knowledge of schema evolution (Parquet, Avro, JSON).
• Experience with Terraform, CI/CD workflows, and Git.
