What you will do

• Own the technical roadmap and system architecture for multimodal intelligence engines.
• Scale models across graph neural networks, geospatial data, and reinforcement learning for physical control systems.
• Partner with Power Systems Scientists and Software Engineers to translate grid data into actionable insights.
• Establish scalable architectural patterns and production standards for machine learning systems.
• Mentor senior and staff-level engineers to foster technical excellence across the organization.
• Apply physics-informed neural networks to solve complex energy-infrastructure challenges.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Applied Mathematics.
• 10+ years of professional experience building and deploying large-scale ML systems in production.
• 4+ years of experience with grid modeling, simulation, or power-system optimization.
• Deep proficiency in modern frameworks such as PyTorch, JAX, or TensorFlow.
• Proven track record of architecting systems for massive datasets and compute-intensive workloads.
• Strong communication skills for aligning cross-functional stakeholders on architectural decisions.

Nice to have

• Experience with commercial grid-simulation software like PSS®E, GridLAB-D, or MATPOWER.
• History of open-source contributions or peer-reviewed publications in AI or power systems.
• Experience operating in high-growth or startup environments.
