Business Analyst (GovTech)

Location: Hybrid, must be local to the DC/Maryland/Virginia (DMV) area

Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 Annually

What you will do

• Craft professional, executive-level communications to support IT projects and initiatives.
• Manage the intake and prioritization of documentation tasks from multiple stakeholders.
• Translate stakeholder requirements into Behavior Driven Development (BDD) User Stories.
• Collaborate with product owners and end-users to enhance requirements gathering for Scrum Teams.
• Act as Scrum Master owning DevOps/Agile ceremonies, including documentation and reporting on test activities.
• Coordinate change management activities and work with development teams to resolve test defects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or business field.
• 2-5 years of experience in business analysis and technical writing.
• Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow, Microsoft Power Platform, and Dynamics.
• Experience working within a Scrum environment.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DHS clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting government agencies, specifically the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
• Experience planning, implementing, and executing software testing processes.
