Location: Must be based in Austin, TX or within a commutable distance. This is a hybrid role requiring onsite presence Monday–Wednesday. Visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Define and evolve long-term technical architecture for iOS applications to ensure scalability and maintainability.
• Lead the design and delivery of high-impact features while balancing technical health with product velocity.
• Partner with Product Managers, Designers, and Backend Engineers to shape product strategy and roadmaps.
• Champion engineering excellence by evolving coding standards, testing strategies, and architectural patterns.
• Provide technical leadership through mentoring, architectural reviews, and pair programming.
• Drive adoption of modern technologies and AI-assisted engineering practices to improve productivity and code quality.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on native iOS development.
• Deep expertise in Swift, UIKit, and SwiftUI.
• Proven experience designing scalable architectures using patterns like MVVM, TCA, or VIPER.
• Strong understanding of iOS concurrency, memory management, and performance optimization.
• Ability to influence technical direction across multiple teams through leadership and collaboration.
• Must be able to work onsite in Austin, TX Monday–Wednesday.
