What you will do

• Lead an independent research program focused on understanding human antigen processing and presentation in immune-mediated diseases.
• Develop and apply genomic, proteomic, and systems immunology approaches to identify and validate novel therapeutic targets.
• Integrate human genetic evidence with experimental biology to uncover mechanisms driving immune dysfunction.
• Design and implement innovative high-throughput experimental platforms and functional screening approaches.
• Utilize advanced in vivo disease models to investigate immune mechanisms and therapeutic hypotheses.
• Mentor junior scientists and contribute to a culture of scientific excellence and collaboration.

Requirements

• PhD degree in Immunology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, or a related discipline.
• Significant postdoctoral and/or industry experience with a strong record of independent scientific achievement.
• Deep expertise in immunology, including antigen processing, innate immunity, and myeloid cell biology.
• Demonstrated experience with NGS and the analysis of large-scale genomic datasets.
• Proven expertise in leveraging broad proteomic profiling and in vivo disease models.
• No relocation benefits available; candidates must be able to work in South San Francisco, CA
