Location: Local Detroit-area candidates only. Hybrid/onsite attendance required Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

What you will do

• Lead enterprise technology and capital projects from initiation through deployment and transition to support.
• Develop and manage comprehensive project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and risk registers.
• Coordinate activities across business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, and external partners.
• Manage project scope, issues, dependencies, and escalations to ensure timely resolution.
• Ensure strict compliance with project management methodologies and technology standards.
• Track project financials, including forecasts, funding, and overall budget performance.

Requirements

• Must be based in the Detroit metro area; candidates outside this area will not be considered.
• PMP Certification is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of project management experience supporting enterprise technology or capital projects.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale, cross-functional technology initiatives.
• Experience managing multiple vendors, contracts, and third-party service providers.

Nice to have

• Experience with IBM Maximo supporting enterprise asset management or utility operations.
• Utility industry experience (electric, gas, generation, distribution, or transmission).
