What you will do

• Set the technical vision, architecture direction, and organizational structure for the engineering department.
• Partner with Product leadership to execute the roadmap across disability, platform, and core infrastructure.
• Hire, develop, and retain top-tier engineering talent, managing organizations of 100+ people.
• Build and maintain a high-quality continuous delivery infrastructure and engineering culture.
• Represent engineering in executive-level conversations and cross-functional strategy sessions.
• Model the use of LLMs and AI agents as core productivity multipliers within the engineering workflow.

Requirements

• 10–15+ years of experience leading technical teams, with significant time at the VP level.
• Experience managing large engineering organizations (100+ people) across multiple management layers.
• Hands-on experience leading cross-functional teams spanning software engineering, ML/AI, and data.
• Strong system design instincts and architecture fluency.
• Fluency with modern AI/LLM tooling and agentic development patterns.
• Production experience with cloud infrastructure (GCP or AWS).
• Must be based in New York, NY and able to maintain regular in-office presence.
