Salary: $250,000 – $350,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Lead and scale the AI organization, overseeing infrastructure, agent intelligence, and agentic products.
• Set the technical direction for production-ready agents handling real financial transactions.
• Recruit, mentor, and retain a world-class team of AI engineers.
• Remain deeply technical by contributing to code and system architecture.
• Develop model routers for speed/accuracy and infrastructure for long-running agents.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading AI/ML engineering teams building production LLM/agent systems.
• Deep hands-on expertise in agentic architectures (tool use, planning, orchestration, evals).
• Ability to dive deep into code and evaluate experiment design rigorously.
• Track record of building and scaling technical teams.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in San Francisco.
