What you will do

• Prepare and implement health and safety plans, including documentation and job safety analysis.
• Collect and interpret data through field observations, research, and file reviews.
• Assist in the preparation of detailed engineering plans and technical specifications.
• Perform computations and process data using specialized engineering software.
• Support cost estimation for design implementation.
• Conduct site inspections and other project-related engineering tasks under senior supervision.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
• Must be located in or able to work from Folsom, CA.
• 0-2 years of experience in civil engineering, specifically water and wastewater services.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD.
• Understanding of computer models for hydraulic system analysis.

Nice to have

• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification.
• Familiarity with ArcGIS software.
