What you will do

• Develop and integrate computer vision and machine learning algorithms for object detection, classification, and tracking on UAV platforms.
• Write and test software to support the integration of ML models into aircraft autopilots and robotic payloads.
• Implement and validate machine learning systems through purpose-designed experiments and data analysis.
• Analyze model errors and design strategies to improve performance and reliability in real-world deployments.
• Manage hardware, data, and personnel resources to meet project deadlines within small design teams.
• Perform exploratory data analysis and transform research prototypes into production-ready solutions.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship required due to ITAR and government contract compliance.
• BS in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Mathematics, CS, or Engineering fields.
• 2–5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Matlab.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
• Ability to work in an office and manufacturing environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or Keras.
• Proficiency in Python and libraries such as scikit-learn and pandas.
• Expertise in OpenCV and Linux environments.
