What you will do

• Operate CNC milling, grinding, and polishing equipment to process optical glass components.
• Perform precise alignment and assembly of glass parts to meet rigorous quality specifications.
• Utilize advanced metrology equipment for in-process feedback and final quality inspection.
• Maintain cleanroom area, tooling, and equipment according to 5S standards.
• Identify and escalate safety, quality, or process concerns to engineering and management teams.
• Document work progress and assist in training team members.

Requirements

• Must be work authorized in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
• Must be legally authorized to access controlled technology under Export Administration Regulations.
• High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in a vocational trade preferred.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom environment wearing full protective gear.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and work in a moderate to high noise environment.
• Ability to interpret mathematical and geometrical data, including topographical maps.
