Salary: $130,000–$160,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Design and maintain security architecture, reference architectures, and technical security standards.
• Perform security architecture reviews for cloud platforms, infrastructure, and enterprise applications.
• Conduct threat modeling and technical risk assessments to identify and mitigate security gaps.
• Define cloud security guardrails, network segmentation, and access control models within GCP.
• Partner with Engineering and DevOps to integrate security controls into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Assess emerging technologies, including AI and generative AI, to define secure usage patterns.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in information security, security architecture, or cloud security engineering.
• Deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) security and cloud architecture patterns.
• Hands-on experience securing CI/CD pipelines, container security, and DevSecOps practices.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as Python, Java, or Bash.
• Strong understanding of application security, identity management, and network security principles.
• Must be based in the U.S. and able to travel up to 10% of the time.

Nice to have

• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or Google Cloud Professional Security Engineer.
• Experience with Kubernetes security and cloud-native security tooling.
• Familiarity with AI security concepts and risk frameworks like NIST AI RMF.
• Experience with enterprise security tools like Splunk, CrowdStrike, or Okta.
