What you will do

• Define and drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for risk and compliance tools including KYC/KYB, AML, sanctions screening, and fraud prevention.
• Translate complex global regulatory requirements (FinCEN, Fintrac, OFAC, PSD2, AUSTRAC, etc.) into scalable product features and processes.
• Partner with Risk and Compliance teams to identify key risks and implement real-time detection and mitigation systems.
• Evaluate and manage third-party vendors providing compliance tools and data integration APIs.
• Establish KPIs and dashboards to monitor compliance performance, operational risk, and fraud trends.
• Balance regulatory rigor with a frictionless customer experience.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Product Management, with 3+ years specifically in risk, compliance, or fraud within fintech or financial services.
• Must be based in Canada.
• Deep understanding of AML/CFT, sanctions, fraud, and data privacy regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or Finance (MBA preferred).
• Proven ability to deliver compliant solutions that scale across multiple jurisdictions.
• Strong technical acumen and experience with compliance technology (KYC, transaction monitoring, sanctions APIs).
