What you will do

• Create photorealistic textures using photographic references and concept art.
• Collaborate with show supervisors to define and execute texturing approaches.
• Work closely with the modeling team to ensure optimized UV layouts.
• Coordinate with look development and lighting artists to ensure texture optimization for rendering.
• Manage time and resources to meet production deadlines.
• Oversee and execute complex sequences and challenging texture work.

Requirements

• Extensive experience creating textures for photorealistic organic and hard-surface models.
• Advanced knowledge of Mari and strong working knowledge of Maya and UV workflows.
• Solid understanding of image color space in texture painting.
• Thorough understanding of the visual effects pipeline.
• Proven ability to solve texture-specific issues independently within a team.
• Previous professional film industry experience.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of Substance Painter and Substance Designer.
