Location: Hybrid in Royal Leamington Spa, UK

A new AAA studio in Leamington Spa focused on building a best-in-class game with a high pedigree of talent.
What you will do
- Create 3D models and textures for environmental assets including buildings, terrain, vegetation, and props.
- Collaborate with Lead and Associate Lead Environment Artists to ensure a cohesive and immersive game world.
- Work with level design and lighting departments to integrate and optimize environment assets effectively.
- Support and mentor the environment art team to maintain high quality and a healthy team culture.
- Develop and implement new techniques and tools to improve the efficiency of the environment art pipeline.
- Coordinate with Technical Artists and Engineering to ensure all assets are optimized for game performance.
Requirements
- An excellent portfolio with recent examples of Environment Art.
- Strong understanding of shape, form, and composition.
- Proficiency with 3D industry standard tools such as Maya, 3DSMax, or Blender.
- Proficiency with surfacing tools including Photoshop and Substance Painter.
- Proven ability to produce optimized 3D assets for games.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with Unreal Engine.
- Experience working on large open-world games.
- Experience with hard surface and foliage asset modelling.
