What you will do

• Provide tailored one-to-one wellbeing sessions for students with diverse needs.
• Act as the primary point of contact for mental health support and external referrals.
• Collaborate with academic staff to implement reasonable adjustments for students.
• Conduct initial assessments and risk evaluations for students in crisis.
• Develop and deliver workshops and resources on mental health and wellbeing.
• Act as a Safeguarding officer and ensure compliance with institutional policies.

Requirements

• Comprehensive knowledge of mental health issues, suicide prevention, and safeguarding practices.
• Proven experience providing mental health support, ideally in an educational setting.
• Familiarity with higher education policies related to student wellbeing.
• Ability to manage crises and conduct risk assessments.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends across London campuses.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom is required.

Nice to have

• Accreditation with UKCPC or BACP.
• Recognised professional certification in mental health counselling or psychotherapy.
• Knowledge of the Office for Students (OfS) regulatory framework.
