Salary: $25.11/hr–$34.52/hr (plus 10% incentive)

What you will do

• Triaging, assigning, and routing new claims to the appropriate PMPL claims teams according to established guidelines.
• Complete daily claims support activities timely and accurately, including catastrophic claim identification.
• Review provided facts and obtain additional facts from the reporting party when needed.
• Analyze insurance policy coverage and evaluate liability involvement and damage severity to complete claim assignment.
• Maintain understanding of departmental service standards, processes, and procedures.
• Improve efficiencies, minimize workflow issues, and communicate claim trend developments to the PMPL Segmentation/Triage Manager.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of insurance claims experience in Property, Transportation, Marine, or Liability.
• Ability to handle high-volume workloads, multiple priorities, and productivity standards.
• Flexibility to work outside normal business hours, including holidays and weekends when necessary.
• Strong PC skills, especially in Word, Excel, Outlook, and paperless working environments.
• Ability to analyze insurance policies to determine available coverage and proper claim routing.
