Salary: $126,000 - $201,000

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend infrastructure and data processing pipelines for map data storage and serving.
• Establish robust testing and performance optimization practices to ensure system stability and scalability.
• Partner with internal and external customers to influence future system designs and features.
• Collaborate on complex problems involving data versioning and cross-team integration.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience building server-side and data processing systems.
• Expert proficiency in C++ with a commitment to clean, testable, production-ready code.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems principles and scalable backend architecture.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native technologies such as AWS, GCP, or Kubernetes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Domain experience with geospatial data, mapping systems, or high-throughput data pipelines.
• Working proficiency in Python and Golang.
