What you will do

• Manage the mixer deck, including filling and maintaining SS hoppers and directing forklift drivers.
• Plan, prepare, and organize hand-add inventory to ensure continuous production operation.
• Execute efficient mixer and packaging changeovers and provide necessary break coverage.
• Use HMI systems to initiate, verify, and record production transactions and ticket scans.
• Maintain strict adherence to GMPs, food safety policies, and allergen separation requirements.
• Comply with safety regulations, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and Confined Space procedures.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent, or up to 3 months of related experience/training.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, climb ladders, and lift/move 50 lbs (team-lift 100+ lbs).
• Ability to work in dusty environments and near moving mechanical parts or forklifts.
• Basic math skills and proficiency in retrieving/entering information using HMI systems.
• Ability to read formulas, safety rules, and procedure manuals.
• Understanding of plant safety requirements, including LOTO and chemical safety.

Nice to have

• Experience in manufacturing or food production.
• Forklift certification or the ability to pass forklift training.
