What you will do

• Perform structural analysis and design calculations for industrial buildings and foundation systems.
• Prepare detailed calculation reports to support engineering documentation.
• Collaborate with senior discipline leads and cross-functional project teams.
• Develop proficiency in structural analytical software and building/material design codes.
• Participate in office and site safety training and inductions.
• Support project delivery activities both in the office and at project sites as required.

Requirements

• Must be graduating in 2026 or a recent graduate with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Strong academic background with coursework in structural analysis, mechanics, and design.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be based in Sudbury, ON with the ability to travel to project sites as needed.

Nice to have

• Previous co-op or internship experience in structural engineering.
• Experience with SAP2000, STAADPro, MathCAD, or Bentley MicroStation.
• Advanced coursework in structural dynamics, finite element analysis, or seismic design.
