Civil Technologist

Salary: $57,190 - $79,400 annually

What you will do

• Prepare drafting and design tasks using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Perform basic design calculations, analyses, and reports.
• Conduct and document quality control checks on design work.
• Calculate design quantities and prepare cost estimates.
• Assist in the preparation of project specifications and contract documents.
• Perform on-site inspection duties and generate inspection reports.

Requirements

• Completed Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or a related field.
• Must be eligible to register as a Trainee Registrant with ASTTBC or T.T. with ASET within three months.
• Valid Driver’s License and own vehicle for site visits required.
• 0–1+ years of experience in a civil consulting engineering environment.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with colleagues, contractors, and clients.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Experience in stormwater management design, civil roadworks, and servicing design.
• Previous field experience.
