What you will do
- Develop high-performance electromagnetic solvers using integral equation methods and Fourier-optical models.
- Create and maintain software modules for alignment simulations, process modeling, and optical inspection.
- Design and implement new metrics, models, and algorithms to meet product requirements.
- Collaborate with internal partners in the Netherlands, the US, and other global locations.
- Review technical analyses and provide structured feedback to team members.
- Contribute to product roadmaps and the creation of intellectual property.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or PhD in physics, applied mathematics, electrical engineering, or computer science.
- Strong programming knowledge in C++11 and familiarity with Python or MATLAB.
- Experience with high-performance computing in a Linux environment.
- Background in developing electromagnetic or similar computational algorithms.
- Experience designing numerical methods and implementing efficient scientific code.
- Must be legally authorized to access controlled technology under US Export Administration Regulations.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of MPI, OpenMP, or cloud technologies.
- Experience with machine learning methods.
- Affinity with developing scalable, iterative, and spectral numerical methods.
