What you will do

• Own and continuously improve AWS security posture across accounts, regions, and services.
• Review and contribute to IaC modules to encode security defaults and integrate automated checks.
• Manage cloud-side security telemetry and develop detection logic for cloud-specific threats.
• Govern secrets management, KMS key policies, and encryption patterns.
• Drive remediation of findings from security tooling and maintain CIS AWS benchmarks.
• Support audit and compliance activities including SOC 2 and PCI-DSS.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in cloud security, cloud engineering, or security-focused infrastructure.
• Deep hands-on expertise with AWS security services including IAM, GuardDuty, Security Hub, and KMS.
• Proven experience writing infrastructure as code using Pulumi, Terraform, or CDK.
• Strong understanding of AWS networking and security misconfigurations.
• Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, or Go for automation.
• Ability to evaluate architectural decisions for security risk and communicate findings clearly.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Pulumi and TypeScript-based stacks.
• Experience with Web3, blockchain infrastructure, or crypto-sector threat models.
• Experience securing containerized workloads on ECS or EKS.
• AWS Security Specialty or Solutions Architect Professional certifications.
• Exposure to SOC 2 Type II or PCI-DSS cloud control requirements.
