What you will do

• Act as a subject matter expert in safety, corridor planning, resilience, and risk management to inform client strategy and investment decisions.
• Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with public agencies, including the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) and Metropolitan Planning Organizations.
• Lead complex projects and tasks, ensuring high-quality deliverables are provided on-time and within budget.
• Identify future policy and programming opportunities through strategic networking and marketing efforts.
• Mentor, train, and manage junior staff while coordinating multidisciplinary teams and subconsultants.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Planning, Civil Engineering, Public Policy, Transportation Economics, or a related area.
• 15+ years of industry-related experience.
• 8+ years of experience managing projects and leading proposals.
• A strong professional network within the transportation industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint with strong technical writing and presentation skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s Degree in Planning, Civil Engineering, Public Policy, or Transportation Economics.
• Direct project experience with TxDOT and Metropolitan Planning Organizations in policy, planning, or programming.
• 5+ years of experience in public sector consulting and professional services.
