What you will do

• Build and structure the new local accounting hub in Budapest.
• Manage and grow the local accounting team while insourcing tasks from external providers.
• Oversee the full month-end closing cycle, including AP, AR, GL, and intercompany tasks.
• Optimize and standardize internal accounting workflows and controls.
• Support ERP improvements and collaborate with the Copenhagen finance team.
• Assist in the integration of new entities into the group finance structure.

Requirements

• Must be based in Budapest or able to work from the local office.
• Solid hands-on experience with end-to-end accounting processes.
• Knowledge of multi-entity accounting and financial governance.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite experience is a plus).
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Proactive, structured, and solution-oriented mindset.
