TL;DR
Staff Software Engineer (Python/Backend): Build and architect scalable backend software for an identity security posture management platform with an accent on software engineering architecture, performance bottleneck resolution, and raising engineering excellence through best-in-class code, testing, and monitoring. Focus on translating product requirements into technical solutions and mentoring colleagues while collaborating across product and R&D.
Location: Tel Aviv, Israel. This role requires working from the office three times a week.

What you will do
- Lead, design, architect, and build high-quality scalable software using strong engineering architecture practices.
- Improve engineering excellence by advancing methodologies and delivering best-in-class code, documentation, testing, and monitoring.
- Collaborate with product and R&D engineers to translate product requirements into technical solutions.
- Identify and resolve technical issues and performance bottlenecks.
- Stay current with industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the platform.
- Mentor colleagues and promote knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience in a fast-paced environment.
- 3+ years of backend programming experience with Python.
- Proven track record delivering large-scale systems.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with Snowflake or other data warehousing platforms.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and modern cloud stacks.
