What you will do

• Design, build, and deploy scalable backend services in Go.
• Expose and optimize GraphQL APIs for efficient data fetching.
• Maintain visibility across a distributed infrastructure of Go and Java services.
• Architect event-driven solutions using Kafka for system reliability.
• Utilize LLM and agentic tools to accelerate development while ensuring code quality.
• Solve complex logic challenges related to global time zone management.

Requirements

• Must be based in Germany with full right to work.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Professional experience building production-ready backend services in Go.
• Ability to read and debug multi-language codebases, including Java.
• Hands-on experience with distributed systems, microservices, and Kafka.
• Experience designing and serving APIs, preferably GraphQL.
