What you will do

• Own core system services by architecting, developing, and maintaining high-throughput foundational backend components, starting with identity/authentication and core search.
• Drive technical evolution by designing and implementing shared services to support platform scaling.
• Enable engineering teams by building clean, robust, well-documented internal APIs and developer tools.
• Write exceptional Go code with full operational ownership, focusing on testability, maintainability, and security.
• Champion best practices in the backend cluster, including modular architecture and automated testing.
• Collaborate with product owners and tech leads to translate requirements into scalable, domain-agnostic solutions.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience as a Senior Backend Engineer building, optimizing, and troubleshooting large-scale applications in Go.
• Strong knowledge of identity/authentication foundational services (e.g., Keycloak, OAuth2, OIDC) and search engines.
• Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and distributed system design for high-volume, high-traffic services.
• Proven experience designing clean, secure, developer-friendly internal APIs that scale across multiple teams.
• Comfort working from an application perspective in cloud ecosystems such as GCP or AWS.
• Ability to break down complex problems, communicate effectively with technical stakeholders, and mentor others.
