Head of Integration, Data & GenAI Engineering (Fintech): Leading integration, data, and Generative AI engineering capabilities to support a large-scale investment platform with an accent on scalable engineering foundations and secure AI adoption. Location: Hybrid (Manchester, UK). Minimum 60% of working time per month must be spent in the office.

What you will do

• Lead and develop engineering capabilities across enterprise integration, data engineering, and GenAI.
• Set strategic direction for engineering in line with business priorities and regulatory obligations.
• Drive the design and adoption of GenAI platforms and LLM-related engineering patterns.
• Oversee data engineering operations including ingestion, transformation, provisioning, and governance.
• Develop event-driven and data streaming solutions using modern API and messaging patterns.
• Manage and coach senior technical leaders to build a high-performing, collaborative culture.

Requirements

• Strong leadership experience in senior engineering roles across multiple specialist disciplines.
• Technical credibility in integration architecture, event-driven systems, and data platforms.
• Experience with Snowflake, SQL-based environments, and modern ETL/ELT practices.
• Understanding of Generative AI and LLM engineering patterns for enterprise use.
• Experience working in a regulated environment, ideally within financial services.
• Proven ability to translate business goals into engineering roadmaps and delivery priorities.
