What you will do

• Design and develop cable harness routing in CAD according to technical standards.
• Create and maintain 3D routing models and associated design documentation.
• Optimize routing for packaging, robustness, manufacturability, and serviceability.
• Collaborate with electrical architects, manufacturing engineering, and suppliers.
• Perform tolerance analyses and evaluate installation feasibility.
• Manage engineering changes and support prototype builds and verification activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent.
• Experience in cable harness routing or mechanical installation design.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD systems (CATIA V5 or CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE).
• Understanding of Design for Manufacturing (DfM) and Design for Assembly (DfA).
• English and Swedish proficiency required.
• Must be able to work onsite in Södertälje.

Nice to have

• Experience in the commercial vehicle or automotive industry.
• Knowledge of PLM systems like ENOVIA.
• Familiarity with Scania product development processes.
• Experience with electrical distribution systems and cable harness architecture.
