What you will do

• Provide production expertise and technical leadership to external manufacturing partners globally.
• Drive continuous improvement activities and optimize high-volume production processes.
• Manage production setups and transfers for new manufacturing sites and products.
• Serve as the primary technical connection between Axis and external manufacturing partners.
• Collaborate with Product Maintenance to implement design changes during the high-volume phase.
• Provide requirements and input for new production systems and oversee their factory implementation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant work experience in a production environment.
• Fluent in English (speaking and writing).
• Proven experience in Mechatronics and Automation.
• Strong understanding of design for production, risk mitigation, and process improvement.
• Ability to travel to manufacturing sites (approximately 25 days/year).

Nice to have

• Fluent in Swedish (speaking and writing).
• Experience in Clean Room Technology, Adhesives, and Sealants.
• Knowledge of 3D CAD (Creo/Pro-Engineer) and PDM systems (Windchill).
