What you will do

• Initiate workshops and discussions centered around design for assembly.
• Define assembly and production processes in collaboration with global manufacturing partners.
• Design, verify, and secure the delivery of complex assembly and test fixtures.
• Visit manufacturing sites during pre-production builds to verify production processes.
• Act as a central point of contact for cross-functional teams including mechanics, electronics, and software.

Requirements

• Degree in mechanical or industrial engineering.
• Demonstrated interest in production environments.
• Proficient English skills.
• Ability to travel up to 30 days per year for manufacturing site visits.

Nice to have

• Experience with 3D CAD programs and PDM systems.
• Knowledge of mechatronic systems.
• Experience within production, SMT, automation, or optics.
• International working experience.
