What you will do

• Develop and refine investment theses for Enterprise AI, data infrastructure, and agentic systems.
• Source early-stage companies and perform technical diligence, including architecture reviews and scalability analysis.
• Engage with corporate partners to identify technology gaps and facilitate matchmaking with suitable startups.
• Analyze competitive landscapes and maintain detailed market maps and startup databases.
• Create research reports, investment memos, and thought leadership content.

Requirements

• Strong technical foundation in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent software shipping experience.
• Proficiency in evaluating modern AI systems, including LLMs, RAG, vector databases, and ETL pipelines.
• Analytical ability to size markets and synthesize complex technical information.
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Must be located in or able to work from West Windsor Township, New Jersey.

Nice to have

• Experience in product, ML, or security engineering at a startup or tech firm.
• Background in technical content creation, open-source contributions, or personal builder projects.
