Senior Fullstack Software Engineer (iGaming)

Location: Budapest, Hungary; hybrid model with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home

What you will do

• Design scalable solutions and build modern web interfaces for a high-performance Sportsbook platform.
• Develop backend services with .NET, C#, ASP.NET Web API, REST APIs, and messaging technologies.
• Work with distributed and microservice-based architectures handling high-throughput workloads.
• Design, query, and optimize SQL Server and NoSQL databases.
• Write clean, maintainable, testable code and automated unit tests.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, QA engineers, database specialists, DevOps engineers, and product owners in cross-functional agile teams.

Requirements

• Experience developing modern web applications with JavaScript or TypeScript and a modern UI framework, preferably Angular.
• Experience building scalable backend services with .NET and C#.
• Knowledge of REST API design and consumption, distributed systems, and microservice architectures.
• Experience with SQL Server, NoSQL databases, unit testing frameworks, and maintainable code practices.
• Experience applying Agile software development practices and collaborating across disciplines.
• Effective communication in English is required.

Nice to have

• Strong experience with Angular, ngRx, and RxJS.
• Experience with AWS or Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of responsive web design, SQL query optimization, and database performance tuning.
• Experience with RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar messaging technologies.
