TL;DR
Software Engineer (.Net, Angular) (.NET/AWS/SaaS): Building and improving secure, scalable microservices, RESTful APIs, and end-to-end SaaS features with an accent on C#/.NET Core, AWS, databases, and Angular. Focus on modernizing legacy services, validating AI-assisted development outputs, and designing reliable software with strong security, performance, and maintainability.
Location: Budapest, Hungary; hybrid work model with onsite attendance at least 50% of the time

What you will do
- Design, build, and maintain secure backend services and RESTful APIs using C#/.NET Core in AWS.
- Develop scalable microservices supporting SaaS products.
- Contribute to Angular frontend features and end-to-end product functionality.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and documentation.
- Modernize legacy services and improve engineering practices, security, performance, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with Product, DevOps, QA, and other engineering teams while using AI-assisted development tools responsibly.
Requirements
- Approximately 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience in an agile environment.
- Strong C# and .NET Core experience building RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms and basic serverless concepts.
- Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases, such as PostgreSQL.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and basic infrastructure concepts; Docker experience is relevant.
- Some frontend development experience, preferably with Angular, plus knowledge of software security practices and effective team communication.
Nice to have
- Infrastructure as Code experience.
- Experience using AI tools for coding, debugging, or testing, with the ability to critically review their outputs.
- Degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
